Can I add a PDF watermark without uploading the document?

Yes. Pocketful draws your text as a watermark image on every PDF page in the browser. You can set text, color, opacity and angle. The watermark follows the visible page center, including rotated and cropped pages, and the original file stays unchanged.

Example: steps and expected output

Download the public sample

  1. Load the public three-page PDF, or continue from a result created in Organize PDF.
  2. Set the watermark text to DEMO, color to red, opacity to 20%, and angle to 45°.
  3. Create PDF, download the copy and inspect all pages. Chinese text is also supported; its appearance uses the fonts available on your device.

FAQ

Does PDF watermarking support Chinese text?

Yes. The browser renders the text into an image using a local font. Check the downloaded copy if a font or character is missing.

Can this watermark stop someone from editing my PDF?

No. It is a visible label, not encryption, an access restriction or tamper-proof protection.

Will a watermark change my page order or rotation?

The watermark workbench preserves page order and existing rotation. It positions the label in the visible area; inspect unusual documents before sharing.
