FAQ
How are words counted?
Words are split on whitespace — same as most English word counters. CJK text without spaces counts as one "word" per contiguous non-space block; use the dedicated CJK character count for Chinese/Japanese/Korean.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Counting runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to Pocketful.
What's a paragraph?
Blocks of text separated by one or more blank lines (double newline).
