Is my content sent to a server?
No. The QR code is generated by a JavaScript library running entirely in your browser. Links, Wi-Fi passwords or any other content you encode never leave your device.
Do the QR codes expire?
Never. These are static QR codes — the content is encoded directly in the image, with no redirect service in between. They will work forever, even if this site disappears.
Which size should I use for printing?
Choose 1024 px for print. As a rule of thumb, the printed code should be at least 2 × 2 cm, and larger if it contains a long URL or a logo.
Why won't my customized code scan?
Keep strong contrast between code and background (dark on light works best), don't cover more than ~25% of the area with a logo, and always set error correction to H when using one.
