FAQ
What is EXIF data and why remove it?
EXIF is metadata embedded by your camera: GPS coordinates, device model, date and time, even thumbnails. Shared publicly, it can reveal where you live or work. This tool removes all of it.
How does it work without a server?
The photo is redrawn onto a clean Canvas and re-exported β Canvas output contains pixels only, zero metadata. Nothing is uploaded; there's no server involved at all.
Does it affect image quality?
JPG/WebP are re-encoded at 92% quality β visually identical. PNG is lossless. Animated GIFs aren't supported (the animation would be flattened).
